The NLnet foundation has agreed to fund work on the FOSS stack that drives the Open Web Calendar, you can read more here. Since the Open Web Calendar uses several iCalendar libraries and these are developed on a free-time base, there are many possibilities to improve the whole FOSS stack.
Using this platform allows people to sponsor issues that they like me to work on. This is quite rewarding! I already completed an issue and now, I will see how the pay-out is working. I wonder if anyone sees this and can subscribe and help to cover the running costs of the project:
