Internationalization (i18n)

Your Next Store is now easier to customize for local markets, allowing you to connect more closely with customers by presenting your store in their language. This is perfect for businesses aiming to cater to specific regions and enhance the local shopping experience.

We’ve revamped the frontend to facilitate the easy translation of all store content from English to your preferred language. This update ensures seamless integration of localized numerals and currency formatting, enhancing the shopping experience. Additionally, the integration with the Sherlock VS Code extension simplifies the translation process, making it straightforward for you to manage and launch your customized storefront.

Automated Tax calculation

Our latest update simplifies tax management for Your Next Store, ensuring easy compliance with global tax regulations for anyone, even those without deep technical or tax knowledge. Our enhanced tax system automatically calculates VAT, GST, and other applicable taxes based on billing or shipping addresses, product types, and product tax categories. This automation ensures that the correct tax rates are always applied and kept up-to-date. Additionally, the system supports European tax IDs, allowing for seamless transactions within the EU.

For smaller stores focused on local markets, we’ve introduced a feature flag that allows tax calculations to be enabled as needed. By default, this feature is disabled, catering to businesses that operate with consistent, straightforward tax requirements and prefer to manage taxes upfront. This option provides flexibility, enabling store owners to activate complex tax calculations only when necessary, keeping their system streamlined and tailored to their specific operational needs.
