I really like XO but I'm wondering why I have such long executing times.
Here is the test :
npm init -y
npm install xo
echo "console.log('foobar');" > index.js
time npx xoThe context :
- no global XO installed
- Node 12.20
- Npm 6.14
- Windows 10 x64
- SSD drive & good CPU
The problem : On a computer it takes nearly 10 seconds and another computer I have it takes 2 seconds.
Questions :
- What do you think ?
- What results do you have on your side ?
- What can pollute or slow down XO in such a narrow test case ?
- How to analyse/inspect/debug XO ?
