Task dependency with inherited uptodate
From the documentation on task dependencies:
task-dependencies are not used to determine if a task is up-to-date or not.
No further explanation is given for people who actually want this kind of behavior. I've been scanning the documentation for a feature that would let me do this, likely involving putting some lambda in uptodate, but I can't find any. If there is a known solution to this problem, it should also be documented.
