This mode don’t take highways but take heavy used double lanes roads sometimes called « Nationale ». Riding a motorcycle we prefer to take single lane roads often called in France « Départementale » or less busy and smaller roads if you prefer.

If you want a good benchmark, please look at the motorcycle mode from the free app HERE WeGo, it is very closed to what I am looking for as a Moto rider.
