With every other navigation app when I enter destination and app checks best route, I get route view shown as North up, after that when I start driving map usually does by default turn to the way that car is heading toward upper part of the screen. So it will automatically usually turn off that north up setting which is shown at route view, after navigation started.

I know you can see route view north up when you tap compass icon, but I think there should be possibility to select behavior of this and default behavior in these should be the way things usually are with mostly used navigation apps (with option for user to change). It's not once or twice when my first thought was, where is this gonne route me to.. :D
