Regarding the week view but maybe applicable to day and agenda views too.
Currently:
First Hour
To change the first hour of the calendar view:

To change the last hour of the calendar view:

These options allow to crop the view, which hides everything else.
Proposed improvement:
- Add a similar (separate) option to choose the default "zoom" to a certain time-span
- optionally
- optionally allow "loading" of other times when scrolling out of time zone is attempted (similar to loading of additional events in Googles iframe agenda-calendar --> could benefit agenda view / relevant #282 and #162 )
- optionally determine the position from current time and upcoming events (could affect day-view)
