To maintain security in the event that a cryptographically relevant quantum computer is built, a quantum resistant signature scheme is required. There are two primary competing options for a hash-based PQ signature scheme:

It may be useful to implement as a separate library that is used as a dependency within the tapescript VM and script generator tools, perhaps within the merkleasy project.
The Dilithium module lattice system (from PQ Crystals) is another option, but implementation may be significantly more involved.
