Retrieving multiple related things from the database currently requires multiple calls, which is time inefficient.
Describe the solution you'd like
- The query builder should have a
withmethod that allows one to specify which related models to load in one automaticjoinquery. - Relations on models should be able to be eagerly loaded using the
withfeature under the hood.
Describe alternatives you've considered
For sqlite3 databases, the overhead of multiple queries is unlikely to be an issue.
Additional context
- One-to-one relations will be trivial and should be the first goal. X-to-many will be more difficult.
- The
firstmethod may require additional tweaks.
