Problem statement

We have a supplier who are doing some assembly for us and we send him some parts, he is assembling them and send them back. It is currently a bit complicated to deal with stock transfer when we have to prepare packages to ship to him or when we receive parts back.

Suggested solution

We would need a way to create a kind of "transfer order" the same way a sales order work to plan and being able to acknowledge the reception of the parts in both location. Stock transfer works, but it is harder either to prepare the package and being sure everything needed is there, and acknowledging when we receive the parts back.
It would be a cleaner way to work closer to our reality.

Describe alternatives you've considered

We currently using stock transfer but it is a bit messy.
