Copy to clipboard icons do not work in docker installation (but they do work on the demo server)

Describe the bug*
In my docker installation (running the PUI) the copy-to-clipboard buttons/icons throughout the app do not work - clicking them do not copy the text and there is no animation like it should. On the demo server they work correctly in the same browser window.
I cannot find any hint what is missing from the browser console - any idea where to look for more detail?
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to any place with a "copy-to-clipboard" icon (Part Details for example)
- Click the "copy" icon
- nothing happens (no green checkmark-animation, nothing copied)
Expected behaviour
should work like on the demo server ;-)
