Problem statement

It seems that the level of Linux sysadmin knowledge in the user base is lowering as we get more users. That leads to a lot of confusion when basic checks need to be performed on the server.

Suggested solution

Add a command to the package installer/invoke that runs a number of checks and returns the codes so they can be copied to the issue to make debugging faster.
Proposed checks:

• OS
• python versions on the system
• used python version (is supported)
• name and path of env
• missing python packages
• extra python packages
• missing os packages
• is nginx configured
• is nginx running
• is nginx reachable
• full version printout
