[Roadmap] Migrate image fields to django-pictures
In an effort to improve page-load speed, provide a more responsive UI, and conform to latest web standards, it may be worth considering updating our image fields to use django-pictures
Currently we use django-stdimage (by the same developer) to automatically generate thumbnail images for parts.
The developer now has a new project which may be worth looking into, although the project looks to be in very early stages.
