Identify global variables or have settings unset both
alr settings --unset editor.cmd
I was a little confused for a minute as I had the editor.cmd set globally and I kept getting error: Configuration key undefined.
I propose that the following should indicate if it is global
alr settings
and/or when unsetting editor.cmd it should be unset whether it is set locally or globally perhaps with a warning if set globally.
