Repology also tracks repositories like these:
Upstream module collections or programming language specific package managers: Buckaroo, CPAN, CRAN, crates.io, GNU ELPA, Hackage, LuaRocks, MELPA, PyPI, RubyGems, Stackage
That's exactly was Alire seems to be.
I see there is an alire-index project.
Is there a constantly updated "flat" index?
This is an example from my project, Ravenports: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Ravenports/Ravenports/master/Mk/Misc/repology.json
If the Alire project can generate something like that on a regular basis, the repology site will scan it and display. That would definitely help repositories (like mine) that contain Ada software in them, so we can keep ours at the latest versions more easily.
I would have posted this on alire-index repo but "issues" was disabled.
