I just noticed this, for some reason the HPET timer is now firing once per second. This shouldn't be necessary. It should only fire a few times during the 100ms period if we're using the APIC timer (for calibration purposes), or if there is no other timer source. Even if it's not firing, the HPET main counter is still going to be running, which we use to query accurate time information when running the system timer interrupt.
