Personally I like how Notepad++ handles binary files just fine, I think that should be the eventual goal for TextEditor / HackStudio as well - i.e. being able to view/select/copy/paste arbitrary bytes in a text editor. Not saying you should text edit the executable files on your system, but being able to remove some rogue garbage bytes from an otherwise perfectly fine text file seems pretty neat!
