I know the HPET timer have been broken for quite a while (at least I never managed to boot using HPET), but it used to boot using some other configuration. I can't seem to be able to boot it anymore, no matter what I try. Anyone know what the problem might be? It seems to get all the way to the idle loop consistently, but I don't think timers actually fire, so the cpu just halts?
