The proposal is approaching(? already?) stage 4 in TC39
The PR to add it to the ECMAScript spec is here: tc39/ecma262#3116
A previous PR (#19761) was created to add it to LibJS while it was still stage3, but the author (@PrestonLTaylor) noted that they intended to revisit once the stage4 spec changes are finalized and merged, as it seems like there's a lot of changes as part of that process.
