I'm so used to clicking and holding with middle mouse to scroll that not having it seems weird. I find this to be great for scrolling, especially when you need to move fast, it also seems an important feature for an UI with focus on being a "love letter to '90s user interfaces" (not that I would remember personally if this was something that old Windows versions actually supported).
