Env file should not be required
Using 0.17.0, I get ENOENT: no such file or directory.... I don't think the .env should be required, I'm already using envrc to manage my env vars, so I don't want to have to create a separate file for this tool. Also it looks like there is code that's supposed to provide a friendly error message, but it's not working in my case.
