When connecting single Nintendo Switch (NS) JoyCons, there’s an issue with the right joystick angle.
When both left and right JoyCons are connected, the joystick behaves as expected.
But when only the right JoyCon is connected, the joystick events are rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise. For instance:
In the dual JoyCon scenario, pushing the joystick toward the trigger button sends an “up” signal.
In the single JoyCon scenario, pushing the joystick toward the trigger button sends a “right” signal.
I propose adding a feature that allows users to adjust the joystick angle. This enhancement would address the discrepancy between dual JoyCon and single JoyCon behavior.
When navigating the joystick functionality settings page, consider introducing a joystick angle offset feature. For instance, when a user wishes to align the behavior of a single JoyCon controller with that of dual JoyCon controllers (maintaining consistent joystick signal directions), they can apply a positive 90-degree offset.
