About Split Scroll brings dynamic visual narrative storytelling right into your Framer layout. This component lets you display a locked side panel that smoothly transitions between visual content while visitors scroll down through accompanying text sections. Drop it into your product deep dives, portfolio case studies, or brand launch pages to guide your audience through an immersive, story-driven layout that feels completely premium.
What it does It holds a two-panel side-by-side layout that matches scrolling positions to smooth content transitions. As the user moves down the page, it changes crossfade images based on the active section text. It handles the sticky visual side behavior automatically and generates customizable navigation progress dots and neat floating text annotations to keep users perfectly oriented.
What you can customize Layout and behavior: Set standard manual mode or use CMS data, define maximum container size or padding, choose left or right side for the visual panel, and control width, section heights, panel shadows, and overlay filters.
Transitions and nav: Tweak crossfade transition timing, show or hide progress indicator dots, and fully design dots with custom sizing, spacing, and active states.
Typography and style: Fine-tune every bit of text including eyebrow spacing, text transforms, heading sizing, weights, line heights, paragraph styles, link colors, and hover transitions.
Annotations: Toggle text label backgrounds, placement orientations, custom padding, border rounding, and beautiful backdrop blur levels.
